Sunday School Classes

Classes meet every Sunday morning from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. The worship service follows at 11:00 a.m. A nursery is provided during Church School and Worship. All classes meet in the education wing.

For Children

Under the guidance of loving team teachers, children explore Bible stories and age-appropriate activities to help them relate what they learn to their everyday lives. We have classes for 3- and 4-year-olds (Room 11), kindergarten and first grade (Room 9), 2nd and 3rd grades (Room 8), and 4th and 5th grades (Room 6).

For Youth

Junior and senior high youth meet together in an intimate group on Sunday mornings (Room 7). They enjoy great discussions and activities generated in part by the David C. Cook Reformed Presbyterian Curriculum.

For Adults

The Disciples Class uses the Uniform Lesson Series (themes from the Bible) to help members grow in faith and become betterdisciples of Christ in their everyday lives. (Room 3)

The Explorer's Class for young adults, led by a couple serving as facilitators, delves into passages of Scripture and seeks to discover how to apply it in the ups and downs of daily life. Participants often share concerns and relevant experiences from their personal lives. (Room 2)

College Age and Young Adults are discussing, Finding Your Purpose. (In the FPC Library)

The Christian Life Class also interacts with the help of a facilitator. Life experiences are looked at from the Christian perspective. Videos and books spark discussion. Currently the class is studying the book of James. Anyone who is interested is welcome to attend! (Room 1)

The Friendship Class helps persons with developmental disabilities to learn about the love of Christ and of their friends in the First Presbyterian Church family. (Room 4)
